Grown at Huxham's Cross Farm. Otherwise know as the Japanese red onion squash. With bright orange skin and firm flesh this is possibly the tastiest of squash. No need to peel, the skin can be eaten as well. It is probably originates from Hokkaido in Japan - kuri is a Japanese term for squash.
